The Iroquois County SWCD is once again offering FISH for interested persons as part of their spring sales program. These fish are raised in Illinois. Owners of both old and new ponds may be interested in the fish species we offer. Channel Catfish, Largemouth Bass, Hybrid Sunfish, Hybrid Blue Gill, Crappie, Redear, and Black Crappie are all available as are triploid (non-reproducing) Grass Carp that eat certain pond weeds; minnows are also available. Deadline to order carp is March 26th. Deadline to order other species is Friday, March 29th. Pick up day is Tuesday, April 6th.
